Betty Jean Baker was born on June 8th, 1926, and died on February 1st, 2019 in Louisiana. Betty worked for the Social Security Administration, and she, in 2019, has a living son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild. She is buried in the same cemetery as her husband at the Garden of Memories in Louisiana who died before her. Betty’s name changes to Saterfiel when she marries her husband, Charles Jordan Saterfiel. Her husband was employed by the Standard Oil Company.
Mason McDanilel Baker:
Mason McDaniel Baker was born on October 11th, 1930 and eventually enlists into the National Guard. Mason is the last surviving member of Eugene W. Baker’s siblings and died recently in 2021. He moved to Oxford, Mississippi and still resides there as of 2021.
Merill S. Baker:
Merrill Sanders Baker was born on October 11th, 1930 and died on June 23rd, 2012. He enlisted in the National Guard, and he marries Gloria Senette Cowan in around 1951, who is currently still alive. He began his military service in the 106th Engineer Battalion, 31st Infantry Division where he was active in the Korean War. After the war he rose to the rank of Brigadier General while also serving as the Battalion Commander of the 106th Engineer Group. He graduated from highschool and attended Pearl River Junior College.
